Changes of Address

FOR CONCEALED WEAPON LICENSEES

Section 790.06(8) requires you to notify the Division of Licensing in writing within 30 days after a change of address. You can change your address online. Alternatively, you can submit your notification to us in writing at the following address:

Effective February 12, 2010, the Division of Licensing is no longer printing the licensee's residence address on the face of the Florida concealed weapon license. The law does not require you to obtain a revised license after a change of address. You can continue to carry your current license until it expires; however, if you would like a revised license that does not include your residence address, please send us a written request along with a check or money order in the amount of $15.00 made payable to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services AND a passport-type color photograph.

FOR INDIVIDUALS LICENSED UNDER CHAPTER 493

Section 493.6106(3) requires you to notify the Division of Licensing in writing within 10 days after your residence or mailing address changes. You can change your address online. Alternatively, you can submit your notification to us in writing at the following address:

The law does not require a licensee to obtain a replacement license after a change of address. You may continue to carry your current license until it expires. However, if you would like a revised license reflecting your new address, please submit a written request for a replacement license to the address above along with a personal check or money order made payable to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in the amount of $15.00 AND a passport-type color photograph.

FOR AGENCIES LICENSED UNDER CHAPTER 493

Section 493.6106(2)(a) requires you to notify the Division of Licensing within 10 days of any change in the physical location of your business. The law also requires you to return each license requiring revision to the Division along with a personal check or money order in the amount of $10.00 for EACH of the licenses to be revised. Please send your change of address notification and obsolete license(s) to the Division at the address below:

FOR SCHOOLS AND TRAINING FACILITIES LICENSED UNDER CHAPTER 493

Rule5N-1.134, Florida Administrative Code, stipulates that a school or training facility license is valid only for the training site named on the license. It is not transferable to any other location. If you change the license location of your school or training facility, you must submit a new complete application and appropriate fees. Applications for new licenses should be submitted to the following address:
