Bureau of Support Services

Responsible for coordinating support services which enable the Division of Licensing to carry out its functional duties. Responsibilities include duties relating to the receipt and processing of application fees, expenditures and reconciliation of accounts for the Division; maintenance and development of an electronic document management system and all licensing computer programs including providing access to concealed weapon licensing information to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

This Bureau consists of three sections as follows:

  1. Fiscal - Receives and processes application fees, responsible for expenditures and reconciliation of accounts and expenditure projections for the Division.

  2. Document Management/Technical Support Services - Receives, sorts, scans and profiles all licensing applications, correspondence and related documents into the electronic document management system; maintains the document management system and prints digitized licenses and other documents.

  3. Information Systems - Responsible for programming and maintaining the electronic document management and licensing data base systems.
